Oldtown White Coffee @ Nu Sentral

OldTown White Coffee at Nu Sentral is a great spot for both locals and travelers who want to experience Malaysian flavors in a modern café atmosphere. I ordered the Nasi Lemak, one of Malaysia’s national dishes, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The coconut rice was fragrant and fluffy, not too greasy, and paired nicely with the classic sides – crispy anchovies, roasted peanuts, a hard-boiled egg, and refreshing cucumber slices. The sambal was the highlight: slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness, well-balanced, and aromatic with local spices. It blended perfectly with the coconut rice. The fried chicken served alongside was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, without being oily, making the meal more filling and satisfying. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and spacious, with seating options suitable for both solo diners and groups. Service was attentive and polite, and the food came out fairly quickly, which is always a plus when dining in a busy shopping mall. Prices are reasonable compared to other mall restaurants, especially considering the quality and portion size. Another advantage is its convenient location directly connected to the train station, making it easy to drop by while commuting or waiting for your next ride. Overall, if you’re at Nu Sentral and want to try a classic Nasi Lemak that’s tasty, affordable, and served in a comfortable setting, OldTown White Coffee is definitely worth a visit. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or even a light meal in between travels.

Reasonable prices, nice and clean. Free fast WiFi. Lemon honey drink was pleasant. Peanut butter toastie was lovely. Staff not friendly..
